3/8 Snowshoe Nose Lake Trail

Sunday, March  8 at 1:00- 3:30 p.m., Nose Lake Snowshoeing Trail  Meet at the parking lot

Hello fellow snowshoers –  Just letting you know that there is a planned NPT snowshoe on the  on  This is a dog friendly trail so plan on bringing your best friend.  The terrain is not very steep, so the 2.3 miles through the northern hardwood forest is a relatively relaxing snowshoe.  After parking in the parking lot, the snowshoe trail is across the road.  The weather forecast for the first part of March seems to be warming up, so we will need to check on the trail conditions as we get closer to the event date.

Directions from Rhinelander:  (30 min)  Take Hwy K west from the intersection of Hwy 47 and K.  Go past the UW Seed Potato Farm and turn left (south) on Hancock Lake Rd. which will become Hancock/Oneida Lake Rd.  The parking lot is on the left side of the road travelling south and is app. 5 miles from the intersection of Hwy K and Hancock Lake Rd.
