Thursday, April 2, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Rhinelander Hodag Dome
NPT offered this event last year and we had a good turn out and had lots of fun. So why not do it again?? For those new to the game, Dave Hansen, NPT pickleball pro, will start off reviewing the general rules and techniques of the game. Players that have knowledge of play can begin playing on one of the two courts. After we figure out what we’re doing with these oversized ping pong paddles we will practice and play the rest of the time. This event is very low key and user friendly. If you have your own paddle that’s great, but Dave has paddles and balls you can use. Wearing comfortable clothes and tennis shoes are best, and don’t forget a water bottle. Dave has reserved two courts for this event. A $2.00/person donation to Dave will help cover some of his expenses. When you arrive at the Dome, please check in at the front desk. You may need to show some kind of I.D. (drivers license) so bring it in with you. You do not need to pay to get into the Dome, because the courts have already been paid for. See ya on the court! – J
A donation of $5.00 per event is requested for non-NPT members which can be paid at the event. Membership for NPT is $10.00/year. To become a NPT member go to northernpaddleandtrail.org and click in the upper righthand corner and find membership.
