NPT Book Club monthly meeting. All NPT members are invited to attend any of the monthly meetings. The major theme of the books that are selected are based on some aspect of nature. You’re welcome to join in at any time, or just sit in and listen to our lively discussions. Our next read is The Overstory by Richard Powers. The author’s novel intertwines the lives of nine Americans whose unique experiences with trees bring them together to confront the destruction of forests. The story is advocating for environmental conservation and a shift away from human-centric perspectives. The library has obtained several copies that you can pick up at the reference desk.
