BBB Challenge, Monday, October 26th, 4:00-7:00 p.m., Alan Janssen’s home, 2821 Green Bass Rd., Rhinelander
Dear NPT’rs. It’s back again, the Bocce Challenge, now being relabeled the NPT BBB Challenge (brats, burgers, and Bocce ball). It will be held at host Alan Janssen’s house 2821 Green Bass Rd., Rhinelander. We have been lucky enough to again utilize the eagle-eyed talent of the world renowned official Brandi Wayt. As usual, what she says goes! No exceptions. The magnificent course has been improved by adding a few acorns here and there which should level, so to speak, the playing field where some of the bowling talent has been questionable. We will be asking for a somewhat healthy food and personal drink contribution again as last year’s potluck items were delicious. If necessary you might bring appropriate warm clothing, gloves, and who knows, maybe a snow shovel. But the Challenge must go on!!
Directions from Rhinelander: (20 min) Travel West on Hwy 8 for about 3 miles from the “world famous roundabout” (Hwy 8 and 47) and turn left onto South Rifle Road. S. Rifle will blend into Green Bass Rd by going straight and not turning. Aim for fire # 2821 Green Bass Rd. All the houses are well marked so no excuses for getting lost
